Lack Financial Education: My life without understanding the value of money.

I grew up in a small village, where people then lived by harvesting from the fields and get meat from the wild and fetch water from the river... It sounds tough but we were enjoying our life to the fullest. We were only taught on how to look after cattles, how to plough, how to make (build) a house. By the age of 12, I could already make my simple structure. It was all fun! Then the school part came... My dad would tell me that, as a man, you should be smart. You have to know how to balance things in life. Studies were important, but not as much as doing house chores. I could go at school and leave in the middle of the lesson, to come home and look after cattles. Teachers wouldn't mind you leaving the class by then. What a life...
